CBLA hosts its mentorship kick-off event this Wednesday! Those who have signed up for the mentorship program will have an opportunity to meet their mentors in Lenfest Cafe from 8-10 pm. Our mentorship program has been an ongoing resource for first year students to get advice from 2Ls and 3Ls on how to successfully navigate law school and the career search process.
Columbia Business Law Association will be hosting an information session on September 17th in William and June Warren Hall, room 107 from 12:10-1:00 pm. All 1Ls, Transfers, and LLMs are welcome to come learn more about our organization. Details will be provided about membership, our fall agenda, and our upcoming mentorship program.
CBLA invites all members to celebrate the end of Legal Methods and Introduction to American Law at a Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Social on Thursday, 9/19 from 4:30-6:30pm.
This social will allow 1Ls, transfers, and LL.M.s interested in joining CBLA to meet existing members and learn more about the organization. Four delicious flavors of Ben & Jerry's ice cream (Americone Dream, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Phish Food, and Cherry Garcia) will be served from 4:30 pm until 6:00 pm, so make sure to come by while supplies last (and before the goods melt!).
Please join the Columbia Business and Law Association for our annual Orientation Champagne Brunch on Sunday, 8/31 from 12:00-2:00 pm!
Delicious bagels, lox, fruit, coffee and mimosas will be served beginning at noon at Lenfest Cafe in Jerome Green Hall.
This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet some of our members and to learn about events we have lined up for the upcoming semester. All incoming first-year students, transfer students, and LLMs are welcome to attend!
