David He is the former Co-President of CBLA. He is currently the Executive Articles Editor of the Columbia Business Law Review. During his 2L summer, Mr. He is interning as a Summer Associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell, LLP. During his 1L summer, Mr. He interned as a Summer Law Clerk at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Before enrolling at Columbia Law School, Mr. He worked at the New York office of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton, LLP as a member of the firm's Client Development group. Prior to that, he worked as an analyst for Charles River Associates in Boston, MA and interned at JPMorgan in New York.
Mr. He was born in Tianjin, China, and grew up in eastern Long Island. He holds a B.S. degree in Applied Economics from Cornell University.

Richard Wright, Co-President

Richard Wright is the former Co-President of CBLA. He is a member of the Society for Chinese Law, the Japanese Legal Studies Association, and the Columbia Law School wine club DeVinimus. During his 1L summer, Mr. Wright interned at The Rohatyn Group, an emerging markets hedge fund and private equity fund sponsor. Before law school, Mr. Wright worked for three years as a management consultant with a small New York boutique. Prior to that, he spent one year in Japan as an English teacher. In addition to his full-time experiences, Mr. Wright has completed internships at CLSA Tokyo (an equity brokerage) and APM Capital Management (a fund of funds).
Mr. Wright grew up in Los Angeles, California. He holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Yale University, and is in the process of completing his dual-degree with the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.

Margarita Kelrikh is the former CFO of CBLA. She was a member of the Columbia Business Law Review and a debate coach for Legal Outreach. During her 2L summer, Ms. Kelrikh is interning as a Summer Associate at Debevoise & Plimpton, LLP. During her 1L summer, Ms. Kelrikh interned at the New York regional office of the Securities and Exchange Commission as part of their Structured and New Products Unit.

Fannie Chen is the former Membership Chair of CBLA. She is a Submissions Editor of the Columbia Business Law Review and a member of the Battered Immigrant Women's Project. During her 2L summer, Ms. Chen is interning as a Summer Associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell, LLP. During her 1L summer, Ms. Chen interned at The White House National Economic Council. Before enrolling at Columbia Law School, Ms. Chen worked at The American Chamber of Commerce in China as a Senior Policy Analyst. Prior to the chamber, Ms. Chen conducted research on reproductive health policy as a Fulbright Scholar in Beijing, China.

Olivia Schmid is the former Academic Events Chair of CBLA. She is a Notes Editor of the Columbia Business Law Review and a member of the Harlem Tutorial Program, the Columbia Society of International Law, and the Jewish Law School Association. During her 2L summer, Ms. Schmid is interning as a Summer Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, LLP. During her 1L summer, Ms. Schmid interned for The Honorable Elizabeth Stong of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Eastern District of New York. Prior to enrolling at Columbia Law School, Ms. Schmid worked for UBS Wealth Management at the Bank's headquarters in Zurich.

Andrew Reich is the former Social Chair of CBLA. He was a member of the Columbia Journal of Law & the Arts and is a member of the Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law Society. During his 2L summer, Mr. Reich is interning as a Summer Associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. During his 1L summer, Mr. Reich interned for The Honorable Richard M. Berman of the U.S. District Court in the Southern District of New York. Before enrolling at Columbia Law School, Mr. Reich worked as an intern at Squier Knapp Dunn Communications, a political consulting firm in Washington, D.C. Prior to that, he was a Research Assistant for Kathleen Hall Jamieson, Director of the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania.

Ilona Potiha is the former Senior Adviser to the Board of CBLA. She was the President of CBLA for the 2010-11 academic year. Ms. Potiha is an incoming Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP. She was a Notes Editor of the Columbia Business Law Review and a teaching fellow for Professor Edward F. Greene. She worked as a Summer Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP during her 2L summer and as a Summer Law Clerk at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York during her 1L summer. She also completed the Law Student Observer Program at the Securities and Exchange Commission in New York during her 2L year. Amruta Godbole, General Events Chair

Amruta Godbole is a former General Events Chair of CBLA. She was a member of the Journal of Transnational Law and a member of the Law Students for Social Enterprise, and the South Asian law Students Association. Ms. Godbole was also a 2L student editor of the Foundation Moot Court program. Before law school, Ms. Godbole worked as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Co. in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to that she was an Associate at SIM Capital, a start up private equity fund focused on renewable energy and resources. She has also worked as an Associate at Pratham Education Foundation in Mumbai, India.
